Drum lessons in Dubai have always been through large institutes teaching everything from piano, guitar to singing, dancing, arts & crafts, karate & English lessons! As a result there is a reduced focus in each discipline & the lessons become more methodical and boring due to which the student loses interest in a few classes.
Our focus is to teach students to feel the passion & energy associated with playing this instrument.
One of the primary methods we use is to get our students to be able to learn to play with their favourite songs as early as possible in the journey. This gives them a feel of being a drummer & motivates them to put in the practice to get better at it.
At The Drum Camp we use the latest full-size electronic drums with an extensive collection of play along tracks & tools.
HOW DID THE DRUMMING JOURNEY BEGIN?

I first played the drums when I was 17 on a friend’s kit and immediately was hooked on to it. After playing with various bands in college I moved on to the corporate world in Dubai for 15 years and could not actively pursue my passion. Now after jumping off the corporate bandwagon I have rejuvenated my drumming journey, at the same time helping new students discover this rocking instrument.
You may be 7 or 70 years old , but if you are a drummer you will always be cool!
