Mesh Pads

Features patented “Superlink” mesh patches, which offer a great feel. No matter how hard you hit, the head offers incredible durability and is quieter than conventional rubber pads. The “Superlink” technology allows you to adjust the head tension with a single tuner, in addition to achieving a sensitivity to ghost notes that is rarely seen in an electronic drum kit.

The drum pads are dual zone, meaning you can assign a sound for when you hit the head and a different one for when you hit the rim. The cymbal pads, in addition to being double zone (rim and bell), have “choke” technology, that is, you can mute the sound by pressing it on the edge with your hand.

All pads are one size larger than drums in a similar price range. What is the use of having large pads? On the one hand, you have a larger hitting surface and on the other, mesh pads of a size closer to that of an acoustic drum kit, give a better “feeling” and a more natural drumstick rebound. The kick pad super loosely supports a double pedal, for comfortable playing.

Module

It has an IBEAT sound module: DSP-1201 with different sounds, among which you can find samples of different types of bass drum, toms, snare drums, hi-hats, crash, rides, chinas, splashes, percussions for electronic music, Latin percussions , among others. The module offers you different types of kits, which you can edit or you can build one from scratch with your favorite samples. The level of customization that can be reached is surprising, since it can be manipulated from expected settings such as volume or pitch, to details as important as the attack curve of the hit, its threshold and the sensitivity of each of the hits. contact zones.

In case the 329 samples included are insufficient, the module includes a midi and usb connection so that you can use it as a controller. Just connect it to your computer and use the battery with your favorite sound library. It also includes L and R outputs to amplify it with a PA, headphone output so as not to disturb anyone in your house while you play and an auxiliary input so you can play while listening to your favorite songs.

Hardware
